We submitted an idea to the Aviva Community Fund, a competition that could result in positive change in our communities. It’s the Penny Parade—an initiative to grow young community leaders by raising awareness of the needs in our Central Alberta communities and how our youth can help with the needs. Through the students’ fundraising efforts, they will also learn that every penny counts.
If our idea receives enough votes, it will stand a chance at sharing in $500,000 ($10-50K) to broaden the United Way of Central Alberta Penny Parade objectives (without spending one donor dollar).
We would really appreciate your help in pushing the Penny Parade idea to the finals. Please vote for our Penny Parade idea at http://www.avivacommunityfund.org/ideas/acf4687
