Community Involvement

Building a vibrant place to call home requires complex solutions and collaborations on the part of “Only Everyone”. “Only Everyone” is affected by health of the community, “Only Everyone” can benefit from a stronger network of neighbours and support systems, and “Only Everyone” is needed to make this vision come true.

Our community is rich in possibilities. At the same time, we have our challenges. The gaps between the promise and the peril divide our communities, and leave many hard working people with limited opportunities to improve their lives and the lives of their families. Changing conditions in the Calgary-Edmonton corridor requires a multi-level approach to creating stability in the non-profit sector, and in building upon the assets we have developed to-date

On a year-round basis, United Way works with agencies, corporate partners and stakeholders to build possibility and opportunity. This community-centric philosophy will be key in moving us forward.

Funding agencies to provide programs and services to the community has and always will be an essential piece of our investments. In addition, our Investment Strategy moving forward will include a broader range of activities in order to achieve greater community impact. We encourage you to become a part of the united movement in building a stronger, more vibrant Central Alberta.
