There are countless stressful life experiences that may lead an individual or family to seek support, such as being a victim of violence.
We have made three-year grants available to enable more stability for programs.
We improve access to short term intervention or counselling services that help people build resiliency in their lives.
We increase access to services and support partnerships and collaborations that support independent living.
We are a partner to build community awareness on the importance of living independently.
We have spoken up about the importance of taking care of our mental well-being through our newsletter, social media and participation in the Bell Lets’ Talk day.
We partner with 16 programs to support 9,360 individuals on a path to live more independently. Through our investments we are improving access to essential programs for individuals who could not otherwise afford them.
