Central Alberta’s 40 Under 40 by GenNext recognizes the exceptional talent and leadership of young professionals in the region. In its inaugural year, this initiative aims to highlight 40 outstanding individuals under the age of 40 who are making significant contributions to their communities through their professional and personal achievements. Comprised of local professionals in their 20s and 30s, our GenNext committee is dedicated to celebrating and honouring the accomplishments and impact of our peers in Central Alberta.

2024 Nominations

Due to overwhelming request, we are accepting self-nominations and peer nomination. The nomination process is designed to be straightforward, ensuring that we collect all relevant information for our selection committee. The final date for submitting nominations for this year’s 40 Under 40 is Sunday, August 11th at 11:59 PM.

Before submitting a nomination, please ensure that you meet the following criteria:

Nominees must be 39 years or younger on December 31 in the year the nomination is submitted
Nominees must spend the majority of their work time in Central Alberta, including Brazeau County, Camrose County, Clearwater County, Flagstaff County, Kneehill County, Lacombe County, Mountain View County, Paintearth County, Ponoka County, Provost, Red Deer County, Starland County, Stettler County, Special Area 4, and Wetaskiwin County.
